Jeffrey is a skilled and experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating a variety of complex orthopedic conditions. He is the co-owner of Progressive Rehab and has been working in private practice in Mississauga for over 12 years.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Physical & Health Education from the University of Toronto in 2003 followed by his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2006. In 2014 he completed his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Jeffrey is also certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS) dry needling as well as Acupuncture.
As an avid athlete and former national level field hockey player, Jeffrey has a special interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation and has had success working with a variety of clients from national level athletes to weekend warriors. His treatment philosophy involves using specific manual therapy techniques to restore joint and tissue mobility, and incorporating focused exercises to restore function and prevent reoccurrence.
Jeffrey utilizes various techniques including joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue and neural mobilization, Gunn IMS, and acupuncture in treating a variety of spinal dysfunction, sport related injury, post-surgical and upper and lower extremity injuries.
In his free time, Jeffrey maintains and active lifestyle by participating in a variety of sports including basketball, skiing and golf.
