Jeffrey is a skilled and experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating a variety of complex orthopedic conditions.  He is the co-owner of Progressive Rehab and has been working in private practice in Mississauga for over 12 years.  

Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Physical & Health Education from the University of Toronto in 2003 followed by his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2006.  In 2014 he completed his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).  Jeffrey is also certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS) dry needling as well as Acupuncture.  

As an avid athlete and former national level field hockey player, Jeffrey has a special interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation and has had success working with a variety of clients from national level athletes to weekend warriors.  His treatment philosophy involves using specific manual therapy techniques to restore joint and tissue mobility, and incorporating focused exercises to restore function and prevent reoccurrence.  

Jeffrey utilizes various techniques including joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue and neural mobilization, Gunn IMS, and acupuncture in treating a variety of spinal dysfunction, sport related injury, post-surgical and upper and lower extremity injuries.

In his free time, Jeffrey maintains and active lifestyle by participating in a variety of sports including basketball, skiing and golf.

Roopali is a highly qualified physiotherapist with over 17 years of clinical experience treating complex injuries and conditions. She is the co-owner of Progressive Rehab and has been working in private practice in Brampton for over 15 years. 

Roopali began her career by completing a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2000.  She is addicted to knowledge and is continually expanding her skills by successfully completing various workshops, courses and conferences. Roopali is certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS) dry needling, Acupuncture and Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation.  She recently completed her Masters in Clinical Science at Western University and achieved her FCAMPT designation.  Roopali is also trained in Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), which is a psychosocial program that enables her to assist clients in learning to live and cope with their disability whist focusing on active re-integration within their community.  Roopali’s next goal is to get started as a university teaching assistant in physiotherapy. 

Roopali is a patient centered practitioner with extensive experience working with several patient populations; some of which include sports teams, post-surgical patients, motor vehicle accidents, long-term disability and work place injuries.  She has special interest in chronic disability, vestibular and concussion management. She has realized the complexity involved with many injuries and therefore employs a very holistic and evidence based approach to rehabilitation. Combining advanced clinical reasoning and patient education to help empower her clients in achieving their full functional potential. She prides in excellent case management and co-ordination with third party funders, medical team and employers to assist with work re-integration for her clients. 

Roopali utilizes various techniques including joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue and neural mobilization, Gunn IMS, and acupuncture in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions.  She employs specific techniques like canalith repositioning maneuvers, habituation, accommodation, visual desensitization, VOR, balance and proprioception exercises as part of vestibular & concussion rehabilitation.  Education and comprehensive disability management is employed for the more complex chronic disability clients.  

Ropalii is an extremely passionate, empathetic and energetic therapist with a virtually endless rehabilitation toolkit.  Outside the clinic Roopali is a proud mother of two and in her spare time she enjoys dancing, riding her motorcycle, skydiving, and traveling; she admittedly is a lover of the adrenaline rush!

Michael is a passionate physiotherapist who uses his expertise in movement science to help his clients accomplish their goals.  His career began after he completed a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2018. Prior to this, Michael completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in 2015. 

Throughout his professional and academic career, Michael has gained extensive experience working in several sports medicine clinics, research centres, and hospitals.  Through these experiences, Michael has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals who experienced workplace or motor vehicle injuries. 

Michael has also completed post-graduate training in soft tissue release, individualized exercise programming, and is working towards completing The Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  His rehabilitation approach emphasizes hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education to empower his clients to take an active role in their recovery. 

Growing up, exercise was a large part of Michael’s life; having played competitive hockey and football throughout his youth.  Currently, Michael plays a variety of sports and is passionate about strength training.

Priyanka earned her Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy in 2012 from K.M. Patel Institute of Physiotherapy in India and is a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

After graduating, Priyanka worked at a rehabilitation centre treating clients with various musculoskeletal, cardio-pulmonary, neurological and post-surgical conditions. Over the years she has attended various continuing education workshops such as Mulligan technique of mobilization, pilates, and kinesiotaping to improve her skills.

Priyanka utilizes various manual therapy techniques and communicates effectively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans as well as maximize rehabilitation outcomes.  She collaborates with other health care professionals based on clients individual needs to achieve the best overall care.

In her free time, Priyanka loves to travel and spend time with family.

Dr. Neemuchwala has been working in the rehab industry for over 10 years.  His interests and passion for the industry has fostered his education.  He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from York University in 2017 and subsequently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

Dr. Neemuchwala has always been eager to learn; this love of learning has transformed into a need to investigate every possibility and every avenue for his patients.  He believes that comprehensive assessment and formulation of an individual patient specific treatment plan are the foundations to success.  Dr. Neemuchwala has built his career on compassionate communication and goals-based treatments.  Treatment techniques include: chiropractic adjustments, instrument adjusting, mobilizations, neuro-functional acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, cupping, athletic taping, rehabilitative exercise and patient education.

As a health enthusiast, Dr. Neemuchwala values the significance of leading an optimal lifestyle via proper nutrition, sleep, physical activity and mental health.  In his free time, he enjoys going for runs with his dog, adventuring, reading, and spending time with friends and family (preferably at a beach).

In addition to his work as a chiropractor, Dr. Neemuchwala is also passionate about physical movement, building relationships and finding enjoyment in everyday activities.  This is crucial to his work as an outreach coordinator at Progressive Rehab. Carvet is a graduate of ICT Kikkawa College class of 2001. She is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. 

Carvet utilizes Swedish, Hydrotherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitated Stretching, Joint Mobilization and Hot Stone massage techniques to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions.  

Carvet has also completed Pilates Intensive Mat Work and Intensive Reformer courses with Stott Pilates Studio. Her passion and goals are to help her clients reach their optimal health by guiding their healing process and helping them prevent musculoskeletal injuries.

Albert is a skilled and experienced acupuncturist and massage therapist with over 40 years of clinical knowledge practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Albert earned his medical (MD) degree in 1980’s and had 3 years postgraduate training in rehabilitation medicine in Shanghai Medical University, Shanghai, China.  In 1984 he continued his training in Shiatsu, Tui Na and Acupuncture at Long Hua Hospital, Shanghai, China. In 1990 he received his certifications in Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tui Na at Shanghai Medical University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Albert also spent 2 years as a visiting scholar at the University of Waterloo in 1991. 

After immigrating to Canada, Albert completed the licencing exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as well as the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.  

In his free time, Albert maintains and continues to update his skills by continuing education and attending courses to strengthen his core skills.

In 2016, Vrinda completed her Massage Diploma from the Nation School to become a Registered Massage Therapist and has been practicing ever since.  Previously Vrinda was a certified Homeopathic Consultant after achieving a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicines and Surgery degree from the A.J. Savla Homeopathic Medical College in India.

Vrinda has certifications in cupping, hot stone therapy and athletic tapping.  She has extensive experience treating various conditions including pre-and-post natal, pisiforms syndrome, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, frozen shoulder and other neuromuscular disorders.  Vrinda is a compassionate clinician who enjoys meeting new people and helping them with their physical concerns, so that they can enjoy their lives to the fullest extent! 

In her free time, Vrindra enjoys practicing meditation and yoga.  She also has a love of music and being in nature.

Tahlia began her post-secondary education by completing a Massage Therapy Diploma at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006.  Next, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Psychology Degree from York University in 2015 before attaining her Master of Social Work at Wilfred Laurier University in 2018. 

Throughout her education and field placements, Talia has worked with clients of all ages and has experience treating a variety of conditions including but not limited to sprains, muscle tension, hyperkyphosis, whiplash, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, tendinitis, headaches, and fibromyalgia. She has experience working with clients who have varying mental health statuses including depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities.   

Talia treats her patients with facial release techniques, deep tissue massage, stretching, and hot stone therapy.  Her treatment philosophy is to utilize the therapeutic relationship for the betterment of the client by incorporating more than a physical approach to clients’ concerns through management of ongoing stress, developing healthy lifestyle choices, and assisting them in the management of their mental health concerns.  

Talia is deeply interested in natural and mental health, and the therapeutic relationship between treatment and its effect on the client.  Her personal interests include meditation, psychology, dancing, yoga, and spending time in nature.

Dr. Barb Woegerer is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their health. Dr. Barb Woegerer received her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Throughout the rigorous four-year program she was required to take more than 3,000 hours of classroom training and 1,200 hours of clinical experience. She completed a 12-month clinical internship at The Robert Schad Naturopathic Cinic as well as at Parkdale Queen West Community Health Center. She gained experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and socioeconomic status.

Dr. Barb Woegerer is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She is a professional member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Prior to attaining her Naturopathic degree, she completed a Bachelor’s of Science Honours Degree in Kinesiology and Psychology at York University. During this time, she also completed the Holistic Nutrition diploma as well as a 200-hour culinary nutrition program with honours.

When Dr. Barb Woegerer, ND is not working, she loves spending time outdoors soaking up nature’s healing qualities, reading and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
